The Métis Nation of Alberta is investing heavily in solar and energy efficiency to save money and reduce emissions. The Nation has installed solar on 35 of its facilities in Alberta and is now building a 5-megawatt solar project at the Métis Crossing Culture Center near Smoky Lake, Alberta.
